Location Information
- The NSW Government has created the South West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) that has very good wind resource and allocated transmission lines for the generated electricity
- The BaldonWind Farm is located within this South West REZ.
- Along with other proposed transmission lines, Project EnergyConnectwill unlock up to 1.2 gigawattsof additional capacity (in addition to the existing ‘X5’ transmission line
- These 2 transmission lines run through the site, reducing the scope of civil/electric balance of plant

Overview
- Located in the SW portion of New South Wales, Australia;
- Approx. 40km East of Balranald;
- Site is Approx. 40km tall by 18km wide, 46266 ha in total;
- Land is owned by 2 private landowners;
- Both sites are secured under an Option to Lease until 2026;
- Land is flat and used for agricultural / grazing;
Bungal Data Centre
Key Facts
- Located in Bungal, 75km west of Melbourne
- Data Centre powered by generated energy from adjacent Wind Farm
- Energy usage <1PUE (average annual), designed to attract top tier international customers
- 3000 racks @ 8kW per rack
- Currently in negotiations with Grid and Wind Farm operators
- Omni Energy worked with community to design Rural tin shed look with non reflective materials to blend into countryside.
